The Smart Thermostat can be connected to the heat generator via one connection type only: dry contact TA (or 'relay'), with ON/OFF function. This means that the regulation of the generator is limited to controlling the number of times it is switched on and off.
The Smart Thermostat also offers the possibility to detect and share information such as room temperature, humidity percentage and air quality.
Like the Smart Thermostat, the Starter can be connected to the heat generator via dry contact TA. In addition, it is also equipped with a 0-10V analog output and an OpenTherm communication interface (active from 2023). This translates into the possibility not only of adjusting the number of boiler ignitions, but also of modulating the output.
The 0-10V analog output and the OpenTherm communication interface are alternatives and are usually a prerogative of the latest generation of boilers.
The Starter is also equipped with an ON/OFF switch that allows the boiler to be switched on in the event of an Internet connection failure.
